A New Season A New Hope
The Clan comes in to the 10th season of the MOB League with a new vision and new expectations. Having begun the new season with three pick-up wins, ownership has laid down a simply ultimatum; playoffs or layoffs.

Led, once again, by star player Turmok Brewguard, the dwarves of Thunderfist have set a new standard for aggressive offense, with three touchdown passes to open the season. And with new buffed bruiser Norragok Hammerhide bolstering the more organized defensive line, the Clan feels that they will be able to meet those expectations and please their beloved ownership.

Turning Point
WIth the start of the 2019 MOBBL Cup, the Clan began the tournament against their nemesis, the Newport Kings. Looking to avenge the death of their teammate and 0-2 defeat from two weeks prior, the Clan came out hard and fast against the Kings. After a fortunate bounce on a throw-in, Orik Flintgrip completed the first of two passes in the game for a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Going in to the 2nd half, Nuffle continued to smile upon the Clan, with favorable uphill rolls and one-die rolls allowing the dwarves to control the pitch throughout the 2nd half; pinning the ball near the sideline and preventing the Kings from making any gains towards the endzone.

Finally demonstrating their ability to play a more "traditional" dwarven defensive game, the Clan owner has eased his pressure on the coach, announcing a new contract extension for the upcoming 10th season of MOB League.

A Grim Time for the Clan
The Clan have been reeling lately after three deaths in the last three games. With the death of two of their blitzers and a blocker, the club finds itself bleeding funds in hopes of hiring new players. After a stellar start to their inaugural season, the Clan finds itself at a crossroads. The owner is calling for the coaches head, as the fans sit in stunned silence in pubs across the land. What is to happen to their beloved clan? Can they bounce back? Things certainly look grim. Time to drink.

Regular Season Comes To A Close For Clan
The first regular season comes to a close for the clan members of Thunderfist. With a regular season record of 3-3-2, their coach declared the season a tremendous success. Led by rising stars Turmok Brewguard and his 9 touchdowns, and defensive slugger Norragok HammerhideWants to retire, the Thunderfist dwarves were a force to behold.

The dwarves were a surprising offensive force, scoring 13 touchdowns on the season. However, they did allow 12 touchdowns on the season to match that offensive total; a number that the coach hopes to rectify heading in to next season.

While currently sitting in 3rd place at the end of their season,, the team does limp in to the finish line, having lost two of their last three games. With their playoff hopes resting on the results of a number of match-ups still to be played by the other teams in the division, their coach voiced his concerns over the uncertain future with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
